Ah!

How could I forget? The biggest of Brigid's (mostly) new likes: her cousin Elisa!

Yesterday Jenn babysat Brigid for me, and our little girl, who hasn't been taking well to babysitting lately, was only fussy when she was out of sight of Jenn's girl, Elisabeth. She LOVES babies, and Elisa is her favorite. It's funny, because her excited reaction to seeing Elisa is the same as her excited reaction to seeing herself in the mirror, only more so. After all, when she reaches for the mirror, she just hits glass, but when she reaches for Elisa, she hits baby. Unfortunately, she can't figure out how to be GENTLE in her grabbing, but Jenn said Elisa is tolerating it better now.

Today, when I checked Jenn's blog (blog more, people!), Brigid spotted the tiny pictures of Elisa in the upper corners of the blog, and started squealing happily. So, experimentally, I flipped over to a picture of Elisa on their picture page. As soon as it loaded, Brigid started grinning at it. Very cool.

Brie's also grinning at all the pictures of family and friends on the fridge. She loves her people!
