Brie is learning to construct her own sentences. She often starts them and then stops them and then starts them again, sometimes putting the same word in twice in different places in the sentence, trying to figure out what goes where. You can HEAR her thinking process, as she works on saying things like, "purple shirt on the laundry basket", by saying, "purple. purple shirt. laundry basket, ON. On laundry basket, purple shirt ON laundry basket."
Where do those adjectives go? what do I do with all these nouns?
I love watching her soldier on till she gets it so it sounds right. Brie has a real love of order, and it comes out even in her words.
