Brie: "Please?"
Me: "You need to say the whole sentence."
Brie: "Whole sentence."

Well...I always handled it (with my younger siblings) by saying, "Please what?"
After several rounds of "Give my elephant a bandaid," "What do you say?," "Please," "Please what?," they were generally happy to repeat "Please give my elephant a bandaid."
I know you probably already know this...but it's too amusing.
Heehee.
When we want Jonathan to say "please", sometimes we tell him that he needs to "ask nicely." He knows what that means, but occasionally he'll get a gleam in his eye and say "nice!"
