yes, Virginia, there are such things as six-hour ER waits

I am now a veteren.

And so's Brie.

And we're both fine. Once the doctor actually started examining her, just before midnight, she was so tired and scared that she had hysterics, and snorted the green pea stuck in her left nostril so far up that she swallowed it.

And for this service, we paid $100 and about five and a half long hours.

Thank God for insurance. Really.


And tomorrow, in about nine hours, hopefully, I'll be back at the hospital with Sam, getting him IV'd for his renal scan. Please pray that it goes well, and they get a good stick the first time. I think I don't want to make it to the hospital more than three times a week.
