As I was carrying the girls around tonight, during the fussy time of evening, Kate's head was slightly lower than Jane's. And Jane started licking Kate's hair. Not sucking, not chewing: licking. She kept doing it too. You could almost hear her thinking, "hmmmm. What IS this? It's interesting. Hmmmmm. I just can't figure it out. Maybe I should lick it again. Nope. No idea. Not milk. Not a binkie. Not fingers. Hmmmmm."
