Mnemonic

or: We Make It Easy for You. :)

There is now a shortcut for telling Jane and Kate apart at a glance. No more searching for that teeny-tiny birthmark! We had their ears pierced. And until they are old enough to care, they are always going to wear the same color earrings. Jane's are pink and Kate's are white.

To make it easier to remember, think:

JaNe piNk
KaTe whiTe

or, "Jane" and "pink" both have N's, and "Kate" and "white" both have T's.

We thought it would be better for their developing identities to be called by their proper names rather than the popular, "which one is this?" :)

Also, as another plus, I'll get to stop hearing, "ah, son gemelos? que bonitos!"
