The above is what Sam just said to Jane as she reached for the play food he's cutting up (it's wooden food with velcro on it, so you can "cut" through it with a toy knife).
We have crawling babies! Jane crawled first, two days ago, and Kate followed suite within 24 hours. Kate has five teeth now, and Jane's cutting her fifth (on the opposite side of her mouth from the one her sister cut, of course). The way they keep hitting these milestones so close to each other is making me rethink my position on nature vs. nurture. ;)
Okay, not really, but it is fascinating.
They sure sound different though! Jane has developed the cutest little growl. "GrrrrRAR!" she growls, crawling around. It's a happy sound.
Kate has a happy shriek. It's an "EEEEEeeeeEEEK! Look at what I just discovered. There's a whole world out here I've never seen! So many things to put in my mouth! EEEEeeEEEEK!"
